Festival Time in Crystal River
Rainy weather may have cut things short this year at the 21st Annual Florida Manatee Festival January 12th & 13th in downtown Crystal River, but the crowds turned out as usual to enjoy a fun, friendly weekend. Florida’s endangered manatees were the main focus of everyone’s attention, and there was something for all – arts and crafts, children’s activities, manatee education and boat tours, wildlife displays and lively entertainment.

Save the Manatee Club volunteers set up an education booth and met many of the locals and visitors to the area who picked up information and wanted to find out how they, too, could help with manatee conservation. Here’s a look at the ’08 Festival!
