Volunteer for Save the Manatee Club

The recent Jaycees Christmas Parade in DeLand, Florida, packed the parade route with fun and lively spectactors. The hugely popular giant manatee float had people cheering, clapping, and calling out, "I love manatees!" Save the Manatee Club volunteers helped hand out candy canes and enjoyed a fabulous day along with float partners Blue Spring State Park, Blue Spring Enterprises, the Friends of Blue Spring, and Discover Florida Expeditions.

We Need Volunteers!

You can help Save the Manatee Club by becoming a Club volunteer. SMC volunteers staff tables at manatee-related events, engage in speaking presentations, help out in the SMC offices, write letters and send e-mails on issues of concern to manatees, and report information to manatee researchers. You can make a difference for manatees!
