Orange City, Florida: On February 2, 2013, Cassandra Meadows, the new Assistant Manager at Blue Spring State Park, discovered that one of the manatees wintering at Blue Spring had given birth! Wayne Hartley, Save the Manatee Club's Manatee Specialist, identified the manatee mom as BS691 or Camo, a manatee who is also known to frequent the Miami area. We are glad she chose Blue Spring to give birth!
